Customs, Duties & Taxes
At the time of purchase, you will be charged for the total amount of your order from Brilliance. When your shipment arrives at your country's customs office, there may be taxes, fees, and import duties charged in addition to your order total. These additional charges are the responsibility of the customer. Customs charges will vary per item and per country, and cannot be calculated prior to shipping your order. You can contact your local customs office for details on international import policies and fee structures.
Please note that due to the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) between the US, Canada & Mexico, all orders shipped to Canada or Mexico are responsible to pay a province tax only (import tax is not charged). The province or local tax amount is usually the percentage you would have to pay for items that are purchased at your local store. Additionally, you have the option of shipping to a Hold at FedEx Location in the US (this service is available at no extra charge). Upon reaching the border it is the customer’s responsibility to declare the purchased item(s).
Shipping & Delivery
Brilliance ships all international orders using FedEx International Priority® at no extra charge. You will receive a notification e-mail when your order is shipped. Our online order tracking feature allows you to check the status of your shipment at any time. All estimated delivery dates and times quoted on our website apply to U.S. shipping addresses. International orders could potentially be delayed by customs procedures upon arrival at the destination country.
For over 30 years, Brilliance.com has celebrated proposals and weddings with our valued customers across the globe. When an order is shipped to Australia, a flat 10% GST tax is added to the order total (this only applies to orders over $1,000 AUD). There is never any additional duty or import tax, so you always know your total out-of-pocket expense up front. Every Australian order comes with a full 30 day return policy, free ring sizing for 90 days (view our Australian Ring Size conversion guide), and a lifetime warranty. Orders are shipped via FedEx International priority, and our staff works closely with customs to ensure a timely delivery of your purchase.
Brilliance protects all international orders from loss or thefts during transit by providing shipping insurance through our trusted couriers. In the event of a return, a non-refundable shipping insurance fee will be charged to you.
International orders must be paid via wire transfer; in Canada, credit and debit cards are also accepted. Wire transfers take approximately 5-7 business days to complete. The total amount of your order in local currency is determined by the current exchange rate of the US dollar when your order is placed.
Gift cards may not be used or purchased with international orders.
Products shipped with international orders may not meet the regulations and requirements of the destination country. As the importer of record of the product, the customer should verify that there are no restrictions against the shipment of the item(s) to their local address.
The regulations of destination countries are subject to change to accommodate global economy fluctuations. Brilliance reserves the right to refuse to ship an international order at any time. Some countries have restrictions in place that do not allow the shipment or receipt of polishing cloths.
Orders shipped internationally could potentially be opened and examined for security or customs purposes. Details about your order may also be shared with carriers and customs officials to clear your order for shipping.
Gift orders that are shipped to an international destination will be marked with a "Gift" label. The customs form must include the price of the items in order to establish the value of the package for clearance.
International orders can be returned for a refund or exchange within 30 days of purchase, excluding the non-refundable 6% shipping insurance fee.
When you return items from an international order, you act as the exporter and are bound by your country's shipping regulations. The customer is responsible for any shipping costs, including customs fees, taxes, postage, and duties, as well as the retrieval of customs fees and taxes collected by the carrier upon delivery of the package.
