Will I be charged sales tax on my order?
No sales tax will be charged to orders shipped outside the State of Florida. Brilliance is located exclusively in the State of Florida. As a result, all applicable state and local sales tax will be charged on orders shipped to Florida.
 
How can I find my ring size?
Brilliance can send you a complimentary ring-sizer that will accurately gauge your finger size. Click here to fill out a Ring Sizer request.

What is the difference between 14K gold and 18K gold?
'18 karat' means the metal is 75% pure gold, whereas '14 karat' means the metal is only 58.5% pure gold. Both purities are used primarily for quality jewelry and are durable for every day use. 18 karat purity produces a finer quality gold and a richer color when used to create yellow gold. When creating white gold, the two purities will not yield significantly different colors.

Which metal type is best?
Our ring collection and most of our fine jewelry comes in Platinum and Gold (White or Yellow). Platinum is more durable and will show fewer nicks and scratches. As for color, Platinum and White Gold look similar and yield a modern style, while Yellow gold is perfect for those who prefer the hue's warmth and chic appeal.

What is the difference between White Gold and Platinum?
Many consumers make a common mistake in defining the difference between White Gold and Platinum only by price. Platinum is four times stronger than White Gold, does not discolor or oxidize like Gold does, and is more durable. Platinum gives a very white, slightly duller appearance, while White Gold tends to shine brighter. 18 karat White Gold is a great option for the price conscious consumer who wants a purer metal.

What is rhodium and what does it do?
Rhodium is a metal alloy that is derived in the separation process of Platinum. Rhodium is commonly applied to fine jewelry to create an incredibly hard protective coating on Silver and Gold. It also provides a whiter shine and tarnish prevention to Silver and White Gold.

Why has my diamond or jewelry lost its shine or luster?
Daily wear, dust, and your skin's natural oils can cloud the brilliance of a diamond and dull the appearance of platinum and gold.

How do I clean my diamonds or jewelry?
You can clean diamond jewelry in warm water, using a mild liquid detergent. Use a soft brush to create lather around the jewelry piece. Rinse off with warm water, and pat dry with a soft lint-free cloth.

Do you sell certified diamonds from Canada?
Brilliance offers a wide selection of certified diamonds from Canada. Please contact a Brilliance representative at 866-737-0754 to shop for Canadian diamonds.

What is laser inscription?
A diamond that is laser inscribed has a set of numbers or letters on it's girdle allowing it to be positively identified in case of theft or after cleaning or repair, which can only be seen under magnification.

What does Ideal Cut mean?
An Ideal Cut stone is a diamond that has been cut to produce the greatest brilliance and fire. A diamond can be polished within a range of measurements that yield an Ideal Cut. For detailed descriptions and diagrams about the cut of a diamond, please visit our Diamond Cut section.

What does Make mean?
Make is a term used in the World's Diamond Markets to refer to a diamond's cut, finish, and appearance. Each diamond at Brilliance is evaluated on a 'Make' scale, which is based on the quality of a diamond's proportions as well as its visual brilliance and fire.

Are some diamond certifications better than others?
The most respected gemology labs are the GIA and the AGS. However, all of the certifications we carry come only from one of the five universally trusted gemology labs. To learn about the different labs and the advantages of each please click here.

Do you sell customized jewelry?
There are many ways to customize a product to fit your unique taste. You can design a ring to yield hundreds of styles. In addition, diamond solitaire pendants and diamond stud earrings are available with multiple options to create the item that's right for you. Can someone assist me in making a selection?

Do you provide gemological appraisals?
Every item (Fine Jewelry and Diamond) is accompanied with an Appraisal evaluated by an experienced Master Gemologist. Each appraisal contains a detailed description and the replacement value of the item. We can even fax an appraisal to your insurance company on your behalf so that your purchase will be insured at the time you receive your item.

How do I get an appraisal faxed to my insurance company?
To have your appraisal faxed, contact a Customer Service Representative at 866-737-0754 and they'll be happy to assist you.

Can I view a diamond before it's set?
We allow you to view a diamond before it's set in a ring. Simply purchase the diamond and we'll ship it to you free of charge. After viewing the diamond, send it back to our offices and we'll build your ring with the engagement ring setting you choose.

Can I have a ring resized?
We will gladly resize a ring ordered from Brilliance at no charge. Ring resizing takes approximately 7 business days from when it is received at our offices. All rings are sent back via UPS express delivery.

Can you laser inscribed a diamond for me?
Yes. If your certified diamond is not inscribed, Brilliance can arrange to have the certificate number as well as a personal message inscribed for you. Please call a Brilliance Representatives at 866-737-0754 to process your request.

What is the quality of your loose diamonds and the diamonds used in your jewelry?
Brilliance only sells loose diamonds that are certified by one of the five trusted gemology labs around the world. In addition, we select only the highest quality diamonds for use in our fine jewelry. The quality of the diamonds used in a particular piece of jewelry is clearly marked on that item's product details page.

How do you ensure the accuracy of the product details?
Every piece of fine jewelry offered by Brilliance is graded by two Master Gemologists to ensure the accuracy of each product's details.

Are all Engagement Rings or Solitaire Rings set with diamonds when purchased?
All certified diamonds that are ordered with a ring setting come to you set and finished. There is no charge for setting a center stone into its setting.

Are your diamonds certified?
All Loose Diamonds at Brilliance come accompanied with a certificate, a gemologist's evaluation of the stone's characteristics, from one of the five universally trusted gemology labs (GIA, AGS, EGL, IGI, HRD). Does Brilliance offer fancy colored stones or diamonds?
At this time Brilliance does not offer fancy colored diamonds online. However, if you would like to place a special request click here to fill out an inquiry form, or contact a Brilliance Diamond Expert at 866-737-0754.

Are your certified diamonds laser inscribed?
Laser inscription is available on many of our certified diamonds. To inquire about a specific loose diamond please contact a Brilliance Diamond Expert at 866-737-0754.

Do you sell Conflict Diamonds or Blood Diamonds?
All diamonds offered at Brilliance have been purchased from legitimate sources that are not involved in funding conflict diamonds and are in compliance with United Nations resolutions.

Can I have my order delivered on Saturday?
Saturday Delivery is available for every order and is a convenient option for those who are unavailable during the week to receive a package. This option can be added at the time of checkout for $25.

Are order shipments insured?
Brilliance fully insures every order that is sent out of our offices. In addition, every shipment is sent out 'signature required' for added security.

Do you use treated or "man-made" diamonds in any of your jewelry?
Brilliance does not sell any loose diamonds or diamond jewelry that have been treated or enhanced in any way. Every diamond offered at Brilliance is 100% natural.

Do you ship to international addresses?
Brilliance can ship to an international address. Please contact a Brilliance representative at 866-737-0754 for further details.

Can you ship to APO and FPO addresses?
Yes, we are proud to send to military addresses. Orders sent to APO and FPO addresses are sent via USPS Express Mail or Registered Mail. Packages arrive within 1-3 days to the appropriate APO/FPO processing centers. At that point, it is up to the individual processing center to deliver the package.

Can I ship my order to an address other than my billing address?
For orders under $500 you may have it sent to an alternative address. For orders above $500, simply call your credit card or bank institution before placing your order to add the alternate address. Additionally, Saturday delivery is available at the time of checkout if it is inconvenient to receive your package during the week. For further information see our Shipping Options.

Can I ship a gift to my work address so I can keep it a surprise?
Loose Diamonds or Fine Jewelry can be sent to an alternate address such as your work location to conceal your surprise. Simply call your credit card company or bank institution before you place your order and add the alternate address to your account.

Do you take phone orders?
Yes, our Customer Service Representatives are available from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm EST at 866-737-0754 to take your order over the phone.

How do I cancel my order?
You may cancel an order by contacting the Brilliance Order Department at 866-737-0754. Please have your order number available when calling. Please note, our team works hard to send orders out quickly. Once an order is sent, you can no longer cancel the order. Instead, you must wait for the package to arrive and then send the item back through our return process.

How do I find the status of my order and how can I track it?

Do you have a return policy?
